On 20 June, the EU Dog & Cat Alliance hosted a webinar to present the findings of research into EU Member States' national legislation on welfare of dogs and cats involved in commercial practices and to launch a new interactive National Legislation Tool.

National legislation can vary greatly, with strict legislation in some EU countries and little at all in others. 

This event brought together a variety of animal welfare and health stakeholders from EU and national institutions, as well as animal welfare NGOs.
